Pursuant to the Court’s General Orders Regarding Court Operations Under the Exigent
Circumstances Created by COVID-19 (see the orders listed at www.ctb.uscourts.gov), most non-
evidentiary hearings and conferences before the Court have been held telephonicall or texty since March
12, 2020, utilizing court approved telephonic hearing vendors. Effective June 29, 2020, the United
States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut will also use the ZoomGov platform for
participants and attendees to appear remotely at hearings and conferences.
There is no cost to the participants and no requirement to open a Zoom or ZoomGov
account. The ZoomGov platform allows participants and attendees to appear remotely at hearings
and conferences using their phone, the ZoomGov video online platform, or the Zoom app.
