VIDEO: Lots of Updates

Our office remains closed to the public, and I continue to work from home full-time. Per the Governor’s orders and the reopen rules for offices, “employees are encouraged to continue to work from home where possible.”  I am practicing remotely from my cell phone and laptop, and I am always here to help you.

There have been a lot of important updates and announcements over the last week on how the State Court is expanding it’s operations remotely. The Federal Bankruptcy Court remains fully operational.

Here is more information for you:

  • Law Days are moved to July 7, 2020;
  • Foreclosure Auctions remain on July 25, 2020;
  • Parenting Education Classes can be completed online; and
  • Free Consultations with me are offered on many platforms:

When you find yourself in debt, facing foreclosure or in need of a divorce or modification, and want to learn what your options are, the best thing to do is to find a local law firm like Consumer Legal Services, LLC that offers free initial consultations.  I offer free initial consultations on various platforms such as phone, FaceTime, Skype, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I have day, evening and weekend appointments available for your convenience.

An initial consultation with a lawyer is a great opportunity for many reasons.  When you meet with me for the first time you will be treated with respect, dignity and compassion.  I understand the hardship or changes you are facing and will give you my full attention.  The meeting will be an opportunity for you to interview me, just as much as it is an opportunity for me to interview you.  Always remember, when you hire an attorney, they work for you, and you must feel comfortable with them as you will have to trust your attorney to guide you through each and every step of the legal process.

During our consultation I will ask pointed questions that are focused on painting a picture of your particular circumstances.  This inquiry will include questions pertaining to your income, assets and debts and/or marriage, children and family issues depending on what the case may be.  Through your answers I will be able to analyze your overall situation and offer you options.

I am here for you in times of crisis and in times of peace.  My personal cell phone number is 203-814-0600. Please reach out if you need legal assistance.

Stay safe.

Love, Theresa
